Stopped for one cold beer. Nice place in a historic town. The decor and atmosphere was okay. I might stop again if I'm hot and dry but wouldn't go out of my way to get there.

The "Off the Chain" is awesome. Potato skins are really great. Drinks are food and a friendly atmos.

Auntie Skinner’s is disgusting and awful! The food and drinks tastes terrible, and the service is horrible!!! We ordered our food, and they brought us the wrong food...then proceeded to tell us we had to pay for it because it was sitting in front of us when they’re the ones who sat it down. I’m a server myself so I understand if there was confusion, so obviously it not being our faults, we very politely tried talk to a manager and they handled the situation HORRIBLY. The staff, every single person who works here is rude. Even the little 13 yr old boy who brought us the food, RUDE!!! We tried to talk to the managers and all the staff surrounded us laughing at the situation because they messed up and thought it was hilarious that it happened. Also forgot to mention all the bartenders are extremely rude too. Had troubles with the staff the whole time we were there, and we did nothing wrong. DO NOT RECOMMEND!!!!!

First of all this is a smoke filled bar/restaurant I would not recommend taking your kids and I don’t understand how kids are allowed to begin with. No patio or open air anywhere. The whole place is dirty. We ordered 2 sandwiches (chicken salad and like a blt). By the way it was NOT crowded at all. Waitress forgot about our fried pickle appetizer, which we got after about 30 minutes and me asking about it. So I ask the waitress if our food is ready bc we have been waiting 45 minutes and she says “yeah our wait time is about 45 so it should be about ready” then comes back and says it will be 15 more minutes!!! So anyways I told her to just cancel the 2 cold sandwiches and I left cash for the pickles and we left. Smelling like a smoke cloud. Hungry. Anyways cool bar area but don’t go to eat.

The food was hot and delicious,the beer was ice cold and the music was amazing.

Smoking is allowed inside. Loud live music. However if you like the bar scene from the 80s you'll like this.Great choice of food at a decent price. Honestly it's probably one of the most happening places in Jefferson.

Food was amazing. Service was a little slow but I'm told that they are all new due to Corona. Not for that it would be 5 stars.

Only been here at lunch time. 3 times now enjoyed food each time. Looks like it gets lively at night. Especially when they have a band.

Understand that everyone is going through some rough times but Restaurant owners be cautious of your inventory especially when a customer travels to pick up a curb side fish dinner order and then you find out no hush puppies, no cole slaw , and heres a new one the hush puppies are free with the dinner all of sudden because you cant at least give a discount for not being able to provide your customer the full meal . Please tell the customer if your out of product. Almost $30.00 spent for a very poor meal. Too boot the fish was not prepped correctly due to a really bad fishy taste.

This place has the best atmosphere, food, and prices. Your missing out big if you don't stop

Auntie Skinner's has the BEST Bloody Mary's.. They have great food and the environment is always FUN.. FRIDAY night they have Karaoke! The Poormans Steak is so delicious!!

Fun place to enjoy a few beers although their selection falls a little short. I had the sirloin dinner was pretty good not steakhouse quality but pretty good, it fit the price. Good atmosphere the service was also good and friendly, I'd definitely return. 3 stars because I'm pretty critical of food services and even though it had a sizable menu it was just a bit above average. You won't be disappointed however it is "good" food and a comfortable place to hang out. Live music some nights

Service was great. We ordered the chicken fried steak, chicken nachos, a BLT and a grilled cheese with bacon. Everyone of us loved what we got. I had the grilled cheese with bacon and the bacon was amazing. Nice and crispy, the way it should be! Will definitely go back again when I visit again!

Nice homey vibe, great music venue, staff is cordial and friendly. There is a good reason why Skinners is well known in the State. Biker and non biker friendly. A must stop for anyone visiting Jefferson. Food is a bit pricey but still worth the while.

Love the food and the atmospere. Home style / bar food. Old building takes you back to yesteryears. Wait staff was very pleasant and helpful. Food was quick and tasty. Second time here.

The setting is authentic, the food is outstanding. I here the beer is cold (I was driving) but I enjoyed it very much. 2 pc band was nice.

Great chicken fried steak. It's huge. All good we've had there has been great. Only problem is it's way too smoky. THAT and THAT reason alone is why we don't go there but maybe once when we're in town.

Wasn't what we expected, they allowed smoking in the restaurant but what can I say, it is a Biker bar/restaurant. We ate there about 3 years ago and it was pretty good food then, but not so much this last time. If you are a Biker which I use to be, I would say yes if you wanted a place to chill and have a cold beer or drink.

Fantastic food, great service! Only improvement would be no smoking! (I'm allergic to cigarette smoke, so that spoils it for me if there are folks smoking).

My girlfriend and I have been here several times and have always had great service. The beer is cold and the food is great!! I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Jefferson.

The food is really good. My wife and I shared a half muffuletta and it was excellent. The service is good and, oh yes, a full bar with several beers on tap.

I'd rather not eat dinner with a side of secondhand smoke and a severe asthma attack. We arrived around 5pm and immediately left to eat at another restaurant in town due to heavy smoking. Very disappointing because we drove 45 minutes to eat there.

Love this place!!! Everytime we go to Jefferson we stop in and their live music has always been awesome!!!

My wife and I both ordered the sirloin steak. The steak was over-cooked and very dry. I never use steak sauce, but had to use it on this steak. It was not crowded when we were there, so it was quiet and pleasant. But, I will most likely not eat here again.

Good food. Great karaoke. Fun place. Large margaritas. But too smokey later in the evening.

Great live music/bar venue. Just about the only place in town after 8 pm. Karaoke certain nights. Serves food, bar food plus chicken fried steak dishes etc. Needs more waitresses. Recommend reserving a table for live music unless you just want to sit at the bar. Had a blast! Within walking distance of most attractions, that way you don't have to drive!

It was really wonderful. My grandparents are from Jefferson and I come there from time to time. This was my first time to eat at Auntie Skinners. It was so great. My family and I went , and the food was awesome. The service was really great as well. I would highly recommend stopping to eat or even to have a cold one.

Had the fried pickles and a beer. Worst fried pickles I've ever had. Over cooked, half were all batter and no pickle, and super salty (and I like a lot of salt). Friends said their food was good, so an extra star for that. Long wait as well, but they were busy and stated it would be an hour upfront. I'll give them another try.

Our Server was so very friendly. She helped my Husband decide on several drinks and let my Husband create a drink that was so good, it is now on the menu. Be sure to ask for the David's Long Island Peach Tea. Yummy! Food was good. The Band, Heather Linn & Jase Bryant were good

The food is good along with the atmosphere Shawna is the best bar tenders very attentive.

A variety of drinks including beer and cocktails available. Food is great and everything reasonably priced. Staff was extremely helpful and very friendly as well as locals. Definitely recommend this place to anyone traveling thru Jefferson, TX.
